Wolves Annihilate The Toffees

Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Everton 3-0 at home following 90 minutes of pure destruction.

Goals from Kilman, Cunha, and Dawson were more than enough to overcome the Toffees. A very poor performance from the players and manager overall cost the Blues three points.

Following the result, Sean Dyche expressed his frustration in his post-match interview, including the "harsh" fixture list:

"The fixture list is unkind to all, we have only got two games for a month or so, yet, we have just come out of eight or nine with injuries and all of that stuff."

"So the biggest message from me is that we have come a long way since the second game of the season which was a similar performance."

"Today we lacked that bit of fizz and a bit of energy to really take the game on. We have put a lot into the last two games, come away with nothing and unfortunately fell short with the physicality of the game today I thought."

On the other hand, Gary O'Neil (Wolves manager) was extremely pleased with his squad in this performance, specifically:

"The win over Everton was my favourite performance of the season."

So it was; his players turned up, Everton's didn't, and the result proved so.
