A missed penalty, two extra time goals, three yellow cards, four goals collectively is what summed up Everton's home defeat vs an average West Han United side.

The game's first event was a penalty given to Everton due to a handball conceded by West Ham defender Kurt Zouma inside the penalty area. It went to VAR after an initial decision by the referee that it didn't hit the arm but later found out it did. Everton striker Beto stood up to take it and placed it bottom right, but it was saved by Areola.

However, in the second half Everton midfielder James Garner made a run with the ball at his feet down the right hand side of the pitch past the Bullens stand and whipped one onto Beto's head who scored a header in the bottom right part of the goal in front of the Gwlayds Street end.
Only 6 minutes later, West Ham defender Kurt Zouma scored a header following a corner crossed in by James Ward-Prowse.
The game continued on until the fourth official indicated that there would be a minimum of 5 minutes of additional time at the end of the game.
This is the point where Everton dropped completely.
In the 91st minute West Ham midfielder, Tomás Soucek scored to bring the Hammers ahead. Only 4 minutes later Edson Alvaverz was on the counter attacker with Jarrod Bowen and chipped over Pickford to claim all the points.
Home fans leaving in unity with a mountain of disappointment that their team fell apart, and away fans ecstatic due to the score line.
