It Ends Goalless At Craven Cottage

It ends Fulham 0-0 Everton after a game where, on another night, there could have been about 8 goals!

Fulham had the majority of possession throughout the whole match, having 70% to Everton's 30%. Also, Fulham had the most shots, having 25 to Everton's 19.

A very peculiar decision occurred when it seemed Fulham defender Robinson flicked the ball away with his hand from the goal line to deny Everton going ahead in the game. It was not checked by VAR, but instead a goal line decision was used to rule the opportunity for Everton out. This will be a bit of a talking point in the week, and the referring agenda against the Blues continues!

The game was end-to-end, though, with close chances for both teams. It seemed no one could score; the chances were there for Everton and Fulham, but they weren't put away!

Towards the end of the game, some sparks of excitement were created. Periods of craziness, corners, and amazing saves happened. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was definitely a saviour. With cat-like reflexes, Pickford was able to stop multiple screamers from going on, doing what he normally does and reminding everyone why he is England's number one goalkeeper.

When Everton's turn occurred for a period of relentlessness, Dyche subbed on striker Beto to add to the attacking threat. A corner was whipped in, and from about 2 yards out, Beto just headed the ball over the bar. There was no time for the ball to come down as a defender was there, so it seems Everton were unlucky in that sense, as it was a difficult chance to score.

Another absolutely huge chance occurred when the ball was scrambling around in the box. It landed between both Beto and Everton defender Ben Godfrey. There was confusion between both players on whether who was going to take the shot or not. Unfortunately for the Toffees, Fulham goalkeeper Bernt Leno claimed the ball, and that was the real last attack of the game.

Next game for Everton: Tottenham (h)

Next game for Fulham: Burnley (a)
