Everton Sign Jesper Lindstrøm

Everton have confirmed the loan signing of Napoli’s Jesper Lindstrøm.

The Danish attacker joins the club as its third signing in this summer transfer window, joining Iliman Ndiaye and Tim Iroegbunam in putting pen to paper.

Lindstrøm’s preferred positions are attacking midfielder, also known as the number 10 role, and right winger. His record for Napoli, by his own standards, is disappointing. Prior to joining Napoli on a permanent 5-year contract last summer from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, the 24-year-old was providing multiple goal contributions.

It seems the Napoli transfer has knocked his confidence entirely. He plays rarely, and when that opportunity does come to impress the manager, he isn’t able to take it, reflecting his poor stats throughout the last season.
