Everton’s Point Deduction Reduced From 10 To 6 Points

An appeals board has confirmed that Everton have had their point deduction changed from 10 points to 6. Meaning that Everton will receive 4 points to go towards their total in the league table.

The club statement revealed by Everton has confirmed this, also adding that they are pleased with the result.

This could be absolutely massive for the club's survival hopes due to the fact that the new position in the Premier League is 15th. The position prior to the reduction of the point deduction was 17th.

3 places away from the relegation zone, with Brentford and Nottingham Forest the 2 teams between the Blues and Luton Town, who are in 18th.
