Everton Confirm New Contracts And Outgoings!

Everton have confirmed what members of the squad who will and won’t be signing new contracts come the end of the season. Here is a run through!

Seamus Coleman:

Seamus has been offered a new one year deal with the club until 2025, meaning if he signs, next season will be his 16th year at the club from joining in 2009.

Ashley Young:

Ashley Young has been offered a new one year deal with the club. He joined the club in 2023 on a year deal and has the opportunity to stay another season.

Gana Gueye:

Like Young and Coleman, Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye has signed a new one year deal with the club after a decision was made to partake in the extension of an extra year in his existing contract.

Andre Gomes:

Gomes is set to leave the club at the end of the season. In the summer of 2018, Gomes joined from Barcelona on a loan deal and due to his success a year later Everton signed his permanently. Andre has been at the club for 6 years now and is leaving for a new chapter.

Andy Lonergan:

Lonergan’s non-playing role within Everton, but there for support throughout the rest of the squad has never gone unnoticed. Unfortunately, it is coming to end as his existing contract will run out at the end of the season and there will not be a new contract for him to sign.

Arnaut Danjuma:

Danjuma joined the club on loan at the start of the season, a year before that he was set to join the club but Spurs came in with a late hijack and joined the London side instead. This season Danjuma hasn’t been played as much as he’d hoped, with not being given many opportunities to impress his time at the club is coming to an end. He will now return to his parent club, Villarreal.

Jack Harrison:

Harrison will return to Leeds United at the end of the season after joining Everton on loan in the summer transfer window. However, it is clear that Everton will keep dialogue with both player and club to discuss the future of Jack Harrison at Everton. The English winger will return to Leeds who find themselves in a Championship Play-off Final at Wembley, which could play a big impact on the future of Jack at the club.

Dele:

After opening up about his struggles with mental health, Dele has had full support by the club. Since joining the club when Frank Lampard was in charge, the English attacker has not played a lot in the league but did play throughout preseason in America. His contract is coming to an end but Dele is still going through a rehabilitation programme due to a groin injury, and Everton are allowing him to stay to continue that!
