Goals from Iliman Ndiaye and Michael Keane meant the travelling Toffees claimed the first three points away from home this season!
A tough fixture in Ipswich away where the home side has to turn up and get the points requeired. As Ipswich Town came into the Premier League as underdogs at the start of the campaign, many had them written off and that they would more than likely be relegated come the end of the season.

It didn’t take Everton long to get going. When Ipswich’s defence wasn’t able to deal with a cross in from Jack Harrison, Ndiaye robbed the ball, turned, and smashed it into the top right-hand corner past Kosovo goalkeeper Arijanet Muric, silencing the majority of Portman Road.
A huge signing seems to be improving his point as Iliman Ndiaye is performing to an exceptional standard this season for both club and country!
Iliman Ndiaye Everton Stats:
Appearances: 10
Goals: 3
Assists: 0
A stereotypical Everton, based off the start of the season, would probably come under a large amount of pressure at this stage. This was the case when Dwight McNeil had appeared to tackle down Jack Clarke in the Everton penalty area. Referee Michael Oliver pointed for a penalty!
Luckily for the Blues, VAR overturned the decision and play resumed from Jordan Pickford.
Multiple defensive errors from Ipswich meant they were causing their own problems that Everton could soon exploit, and the Toffees did that.
Following a corner, it fell back to Dwight McNeil on the edge of the box, who played a driven-through ball into the path of defender Michael Keane. A sprint past the back line and a sweet shot on a weird angle that managed to hit the top of the net.
Michael Keane Everton Stats:
Appearances: 220
Goals: 14
Assists: 10
It seemed Sean Dyche’s team talk worked as Everton were able to see out the whole second half without coming under any pressure.
As the final whistle blew, the Toffees were able to succeed and claim their first three points away from Goodison Park this season!
